Humidity test chamber

To simulate immersion in rainy environments, Thermotron's humidity test chambers are built to watertightly seal components such as headlights, taillights, and wiring harnesses.

The chamber features a self-contained water recirculation system that eliminates the cost and inconvenience of plumbing for a facility water supply. Water is injected into the test enclosure through nozzles of specific dimensions. Flow meter with regulating valve supplies spray at specified flow parameters. A rotating test platform can be incorporated to facilitate even moisture distribution over the surface of the product being tested.

The humidity test chamber is in top and front open configuration. Thermotron has the engineering capabilities and experience to customize moisture testing equipment to meet special configurations or performance specifications.

Humidity test chambers provide the appropriate water coverage as required by the Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS), and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Standard J575, Section 4.2.3.
