Sand and dust can be very detrimental to the operation of a product, so the Sand and Dust Test Chamber was developed to test a product's resistance to extreme sand and dusty desert-like environments.
Product Description:
Designed to test a product's resistance to dusty, desert-like environments, Thermotron's D-27 Dust Test Chamber provides the ability to meet specific automotive testing standards. Powerful blowers intermittently blow compressed air up through the fine powdery dust and then allow the dust to settle back down covering the product.
The room is built in the image configuration. Product is lowered into the chamber's work area and placed on an adjustable stainless steel rack that can hold up to 100 pounds of product.
